Warhammer 40,000 Pitch Trailer

A 109-second trailer that explains the 41st millennium to someone who has never heard of it.

The brief

Explain a setting with forty years of history in under two minutes, and leave the audience wanting more. It premiered on a Higgsfield community stream.

How it was made

I wrote the script as a narrated tour: the Emperor, the Imperium, the enemies at its gates and one soldier holding the line. Every beat got a still before anything moved.

  • 116 stills designed at 21:9 and graded as one set, so the whole trailer shares a single light and palette.
  • 38 of them animated with Seedance 2.5, each clip prompted to its line of narration.
  • Narration and score from ElevenLabs, mixed to broadcast loudness.
  • A pipeline I wrote lines the shots up with the narration and builds the DaVinci Resolve timeline. I then cut it by hand across 17 versions.
