Genjutsu Experiments
Same camera, same motion, a different world. A dog becomes a dragon, a sneaker becomes a lobster and a talking head becomes an alien.
Genjutsu keeps a clip’s camera and motion and rebuilds what it shows. I ran more than thirty logged tests across eighteen clips to learn exactly where it breaks, then wrote the findings into a playbook: which mode suits a recast and which suits a product swap, why timestamps work better than shot numbers, and how to shoot a source clip so the transformation lands.
The result is a set of before-and-afters, and a method I now use on client footage.
Made for Higgsfield’s Genjutsu contest in September 2026. In each clip the original is at the bottom and the result is at the top.
